THE CONTEXT
ATUNE Health Centres required a dedicated pediatric rehabilitation space within their existing facility. The available footprint was a lower-level undercroft that felt dark and disconnected from the main medical hub.
THE DESIGN
The layout accommodates consultation rooms, a gym, and staff areas within a restricted floor plate. By prioritising natural light in the entry, the subterranean feel of the space was mitigated. Below images showcase the initial concept design. The final design moved away from high-stimulus colours, utilising a pared-back palette of warm tones and textures to support a calm environment for therapy.
